The USCG license allows 6 customers but a preferred number is 2-4.
Can you recommend a place to stay?
There are many suitable motels
and bed/breakfast facilities. We recommend the economical and clean:
Vista Villa Motel
916 E. Ludington Ave
(231) 843-9320
How do I find your dock at Ludington
Municipal Marina?
201 South William Street Slip D-1
Enter Ludington from the east on U S 10
(Ludington Avenue). Take Ludington Avenue west all the way downtown
until the street is divided in the middle. You will see a large U S
flag in the divider and the House of Flavors restaurant on the NW
corner.
Turn south (left) on William Street. Go
south two blocks and turn right into the marina parking lot.
Try to find a parking place that is not
reserved for “Seasonal Boaters Only”. Sometimes the police give tickets.
The J J Mac boat is located in slip D-1,
the slip farthest from the parking lot on D dock. D dock is the one
closest to the fish cleaning station just east of the shower/restroom
building. The boat is directly across the street from the PM Steamers
restaurant.
