The boat we use is a Pursuit 2670 Cuddy Center Console – A dependable well-built, well-maintained, and clean fishing machine. It is a center console boat with a cuddy cabin.

Why a center console boat?
Many of our trips are night fishing for walleye. The center console allows uninterrupted vision and movement for the best fishing in this environment. It works out great for salmon also!

The 28 foot Pursuit 2670 is one of the largest and most seaworthy boats working this area. When it comes to boats, size does matter - especially on the open water.

Welcome aboard the Fin-Addict fishing boat. I inherited the angling gene from my dad with whom I fished for twenty-five years before I got my Captain’s license. We are docked at the Cedar River State Harbor in Cedar River, Michigan. Our location is only minutes from the largely unexplored and under-fished Michigan waters of Green Bay in the northwest part of Lake Michigan.

This region is becoming recognized as one of the great northern Lake Michigan fishing sites for salmon in the summer and walleyes in the spring and fall. The Chinook salmon are plentiful in July and August and match the rest of the lake for size and fighting ability. Steelhead and brown trout are also caught occasionally and add to the excitement. If you fish for salmon here, it will be a trip you won’t forget!

Walleye are plentiful in the spring and fall, are huge, and are not subject to the “one fish over twenty-three inches rule” like some of the other nearby areas. The walleye fishing can be absolutely phenomenal! The big ones we catch do fight and, of course, the table fare is outstanding. This is a great place to catch that once in a lifetime trophy!
Pro StaffWe fish up to 10 miles off shore & sometimes more. If you fish the big water you want to fish on a true big-water boat that can get you to and from the fishing sites fast, safe, and comfortably even when the waves kick up.
